Aaron Wellborn, DMD

I’ve been going to Dr. Wellborn for about 5 years now and have enjoyed each visit because of all of the nice hygenists, how easy they are to work with and schedule with and of course Dr. Wellborn’s kind and gentle nature. I just went last week for the first time since he left and I had the most gentle cleaning I have EVER had in my entire life!

Dr. Wellborn enjoyed living in LA in his youth and, during his clinical rotation in dental school, he opted to work at a low-income clinic serving the underprivileged and indigent youth in the area. Consistently tells our office staff to call him “Aaron” and we all still call him “Doctor” out of respect. Speaks a small amount of Hut (as in Jabba the Hut’s language). Patients have said he resembles Jack Black. He has 5 daughters and one son. He can sing songs from most musicals and any Disney movie, but please (for our sake) don’t ask him to dance.

Brian Rosell, DDS

Dr. Rosell is an amazing dentist, super caring and friendly! I will definately be returning in the future.

Dr. Brian Rosell was born and raised in Southern California. He attended college at Utah Valley University before going to Creighton School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. He has been practicing the last several years in Oklahoma and is very excited to be coming back to Utah! When Dr. Rosell is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and their 4 children, eating In-N-Out, and watching movies. The thing he enjoys most about being a dentist is helping his patients feel calm and comfortable, and making connections with each individual. He looks forward to providing the highest quality of dental care to his patients here in Magna!

Dr. Luis Franco - Endodontist

I had 2 root canals done by Dr. Franco and he made them no sweat. I love how he made me feel calm and relaxed. He is a great dentist and I actually look forward to going to him if I should ever need to again!

Dr. Franco is a veteran of the United States Navy where he served as an officer. He received his degree in Flight Operations from Westminster College, DDS from the University of Utah and completed his residency in Endodontics at Boston University. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association and Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association. Dr. Franco has a passion for educating others about patient care and the incredibly interesting world of endodontics. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, swimming and learning how to play the piano and electric guitar.

Dr. Vanessa Bikhazi - Periodontist

Vanessa Bikhazi is fantastic! She’s professional, kind, and always makes sure I feel comfortable during my visits. Highly recommend her!

Dr. Vanessa Bikhazi received her Doctor of Dental Surgery followed by a 3 year specialty degree in Periodontology from New York University. She performed research investigating conditions resulting in osteonecrosis of the jaw with an article published by Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology Journal. Dr Bikhazi believes in oral health and how the oral cavity is interconnected with the health of her patients. She is passionate about educating her patients on periodontal disease and how conditions of the mouth can influence the health outcomes of the body. She enjoys time with her husband and pets. She also enjoys traveling, skiing and movies. She loves to spend time with her family.

Dr. Shaun Heward - Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon

I had oral surgery today. I had anesthesia and everything went perfectly. The whole team was great! Dr. Shaun Heward, the surgeon, is so caring and kind. He called me twice before my surgery to explain everything that would be done and to answer my questions. It really put me at ease.

Dr. Shaun Heward was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. He attended Alta High School and completed his undergraduate at University of Utah. During this time he worked as a dental laboratory technician making crowns and bridges. He then moved to Lexington, Kentucky where he completed dental school at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Following dental school, he began medical school at the University of Michigan Medical School. While at the University of Michigan, he also completed his internship in general surgery, residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and was a chief resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Heward has extensive surgical training in corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), tumors/cysts of the jaws, face trauma, dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, cleft lip and palate, face reconstruction and bone grafting. He is delighted to have moved back to his home state of Utah and working with Platinum Dental Services. He also has a passion for serving others abroad and continues to treat less fortunate patients on mission trips overseas. When Dr. Heward is not at work he enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, biking, shooting, gardening, wood working and cooking.
